If you have internalised kata -- as in traditional karate -- you are in a position to defend yourself employing the principles and techniques of the style which you train. Any other interpretation of of the role of kata in traditional karate is a profound misinterpretation of the discipline.

たまたま見ました。凄く動きが速いからですが、
ちょっと勿体ない感じがします。
部分的に速すぎて？かえって全体的に少し遅くなって見えてる気がします。
それはほとんど人に言えることだと思います。
名前が出てきませんが、女子空手家のorp2位の人はそんな感じしないですね。
あくまでも個人的な感想ですが。中国武術の六合ってことの外三合なのかな。
